Cycle Air Filters are "earth's most sustainable HVAC Air Filter". We proudly make a laundry-washable, dryer-safe, 100% recycled filter that offers an eco-friendly choice for homeowners who want a cleaner home environment while minimizing waste. Unlike disposable filters, our 100% recycled polyester filter can be washed and reused, reducing landfill waste and saving you money.
Disposable filters are plastic inside — despite cardboard frames — and cannot be recycled. Over 250 million single-use filters are discarded annually in North America. Cycle Air solves this with a high-performance, washable and reusable solution that helps your HVAC system run efficiently and keeps waste out of landfills.
Our dual-layer design contains hundreds of micropleats for optimized airflow and particle capture. Rated MERV 7 under ASHRAE 52.2 standards — ideal for most homes. Initial pressure drop is 0.17"wg (typical systems are rated 0.5"–0.7"wg).
The patented indicator shows 3 visible dots when it’s time to clean. Wash about every 60 days (or sooner if the indicator suggests).
Compatible with most 16x25x1" return vents, furnace slots, or ceiling inlets. Need a different size? Browse all 1" sizes or shop 4" & 5" wide filters.
Crafted in Ontario with 100% recycled materials. Our compact packaging is 80% more efficient to ship vs. disposables — saving space, emissions, and cost. #WashAndReuse @CycleAir.ca
Our unique 3D mesh holds fine particles using electrostatic attraction — proven effective by Surface Science Western (UWO):
Electrostatic properties keep dust, allergens, and debris clinging to the filter — protecting your furnace blower motor and indoor air quality.
Unlike disposable filters, Cycle Air is both made from — and recyclable back into — post-consumer materials. Our filters are made from recycled polypropylene (filter) and HDPE (frame), both widely recyclable. The filter media is wash-tested for 50 washes (8+ years). At end of life, the filter can go to any textile recycler, and the frame can go into blue-bin plastic recycling.
